Set on its own in an island brimming with wildlife, The Door offers an ideal self-catering holiday for a family or a small group of friends wishing to spend time together in a Christian environment.

 

The house comprises 4 bedrooms, one of which is en-suite and on the ground floor, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate shower rooms, large lounge, dining room,

all-electric kitchen, laundry room with washing machine plus tumble dryer, and ¾ acre of grounds.

 

The Door is open all year apart from January and February, when it is normally closed for refurbishment. During off-peak times (outside school holiday periods) we sometimes are able to offer subsidised low-cost holidays for those on low incomes, supported by The Door Trust.

 

Additionally, The Door houses an extensive Christian library of over 2500 titles for use of our guests and any who wish to spend time studying in a relaxing environment. Occasionally we can offer day conference facilities for numbers greater than can be accommodated on site.
